Ross County Hope To Live Up To Favourites Tag

Two Highland clubs meet up tomorrow with the League club expected to win through to the fourth round. Interim Ross County manager Craig Brewster will be planning for his side to see off Deveronvale in the Third Round of the Scottish Cup without defender Scott Boyd (punctured lung), Paul Di Giacomo (hernia) and Darren Smith (thumb) who are all sidelined. Brewster said: "I spoke to a couple of Highland League managers about Deveronvale. They are a useful side but it is important what we do in terms of winning the game. We are clear favourites and we have to show that we can handle that tag.'' Deveronvale look set to welcome back Graeme Watt to their squad for the trip to Dingwall. However, the game may come too soon for frontman Mike McKenzie, who is struggling with a back injury. Co-manager Scott Anderson said: "Everybody is looking to the game at Dingwall as it is a great opportunity for our players to test themselves against the Finalists from last season. We are determined to go up there and do ourselves justice but we know it will be a hard tie to win. We will take a big support up from Banff and we have to put on a good show for them and whilst it will be difficult we will set out to make a game of it against Ross County.''
