Relax And Re-focus

The international break allows those not involved to consider their achievements so far. Inverness manager Terry Butcher was grateful for the international break despite it coming straight after his team secured their first back-to-back wins of the season in the league. Inverness, currently in fifth place, are looking for a hat-trick of wins when they welcome St Johnstone on Saturday. Far from being disappointed with losing momentum following triumphs over St Mirren and Aberdeen, Butcher feels the break has allowed his side to re-focus. Butcher, who will have Kevin McCann and Dani Sanchez available after injury for the game against the Perth Saints, said: "A lot of players had three or four days off and we had a golf day as well for the ones who can walk. They have come back sharp and hungry. It has really calmed then down after the Aberdeen game and being in the top six. We want three wins on the trot, we want back-to-back home wins because after that we have four away matches out of five. Training has been of a really high intensity, it has been a bit ferocious at times. People have been flying into tackles, which shows the desire is there. We can't wait for the first whistle. Normally when we have won, we haven't quite got down for the next game because the lads were excited and everyone was telling them how well they played. We have won two games in a row but that was a long time ago." Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is ScottishFitba Net
