Queens Look To Bounce Back

Two sides hoping to improve on previous performances. Queen of the South manager Kenny Brannigan has selection problems ahead of tonight's visit of Morton. Brannigan is hoping his voice has recovered from Sunday's efforts to get his side to rally in Sunday's ALBA Challenge Cup Final against Ross County. His valiant efforts were in vain as his side lost 2-0. Defender Craig Reid and striker Colin McMenamin are suspended while Rocco Quinn, David Weatherston and Daniel Orsi are on the injured list. Brannigan said: "Monday was a very quiet day but the spirit in the camp was good again so we will go out and give it our best. I have to ask the experienced boys to do all they can to help the youngsters we bring in. It is not ideal but we are so short of bodies there is not much else we can do." Boss Allan Moore is hoping Kevin McKinlay can shake off a knock to play at Palmerston, while Darren Young is expected to make his comeback from a calf problem on the bench. Moore is out for revenge after two defeats in a row against the Dumfries side. He said: "They have given us tough games and it is time for us to win one now. A win would move us back up the table and everyone knows I am determined that Morton finish as far up the table as possible come the end of the season.''
