In Spanish there is no such thing as a question. Well put it another way, all questions are statements with a question mark at both ends to show the reader that a question follow and not a statement. The question/statement on all Spaniards lips is: ?Scotland?Watching Spain command a 72% posession game last Friday (in an away fixture) you have to worry about the opportunities that might come our way on Tuesday. Remember the SFA edict: If you do not have the ball, you cannot score. If you cannot score, you have to stop the opposition scoring, (page 2 of the Manual, 1923 edition, available in all good book shops).With 28% posession, including one kick off, throw ins and fouls Scotland must make best use of the ball. Burst it, sit on it, hide it, disguise it, anything but kick it in the general direction of a Spanish player. However if Scotland get beat 16 - nil and that result is matched elsewhere, then we are through to another gut buster fixture. I think a nil-nil as the best we can hope for. However, having seen the cameras focus on Spanish fans yawning during their 2.0 away victory, who knows what will happen in what will be a nail biter for us and a "get the match out of the way" fixture for them. All said and done, here's hoping all goes well, dull and scoreless (unless we score!) Arriba los Azules!
