Killie will have to continue without David Silva foa a while Killie's David Silva will be sidelined for up to eight weeks after he suffered medial ligament damage during Sunday's 4-1 win over Hibs. The Portuguese midfielder had to be subbed with 18 minutes left at Rugby Park. Tests have now confirmed the extent of the damage and he will be out for up to eight weeks. Manager Kenny Shiels said: "David will be out for six weeks, maybe eight. It causes a problem for us because he and James Dayton had been doing well out wide for us." On a more positive note, reports say the club are close to agreeing a deal for left-sided winger Leon Panikvar. The Slovenian is closing on a two-year deal but it looks unlikely he will be in the side to take on Hearts on Sunday.
