Jimmy Boyle is looking to get his side ready for the new challenges ahead Jimmy Boyle has started planning for the new season following his elevation to the position of Airdrie United’s interim manager after Kenny Black was relieved of his duties last week. Former assistant manager, Boyle has asked two members of last season’s squad, captain Paul Lovering and striker Scott Gemmill, to come back for pre-season training with a view to signing them again.Boyle is also looking at three players from the Diamonds’ youth set up, Jamie Bain, Paddy McCabe and Ryan Donnelly, to see if they could be good enough to be offered first team deals.
