Pitch Inspection For Hamilton

29 December 2010 02:02
Hamilton's pitch has had a rest during December but will have to be inspected this morning. Pity the travelling fans from Aberdeen if the game get postponed. Hamilton have arranged for their pitch to be inspected on Wednesday morning ahead of the scheduled game with Aberdeen. Accies have been idle for all of December after Scotland suffered arctic conditions, with two games at New Douglas Park already falling victim to the weather. Wednesday's game with the Dons, set for a 3pm kick-off at 3pm, will be subjected to a pitch inspection at 8.15am. A statement from the club said: "The undersoil heating is on and the pitch is thawing and improving every hour, but the consequence of that is surface water. That is draining and we will have an inspection by match referee Craig Thomson to check on matters in the morning."
