Perth Saints And Killie Look To Win

Both St Johnstone and Kilmarnock have good reasons to go for the win tonight - if the game goes on!

St Johnstone are looking to end a run of three consecutive home defeats. On Christmas Eve, Saints bounced back with a 3-0 win away to bottom side Dunfermline and manager Steve Lomas has asked his players to give the home fans something to shout about. Saints have only lost one game away from home, against Hibs, and only lost two goals in the other nine games on the road. But they have conceded 15 at home in the SPL. Lomas said: "We have got to produce something. Our away supporters were fantastic at Dunfermline, apparently we had about 700 there. They gave us great support and the players responded to it. It's going to be a tough game. Kenny has got them going well. We have got to be up for it and take the game to them."Kilmarnock manager Kenny Shiels is far from downbeat heading into tonight's game against St Johnstone in Perth. Killie had avoided defeat in four games before losing 2-1 to Celtic at Parkhead on Christmas Eve. Sheils is not dwelling on the festive setback. Shiels said: "We are not feeling sorry for ourselves. We are just disappointed that we didn't produce enough to win the game. There was little between the teams. Celtic had possession but in imagination and creativity, you can't say that Celtic were better than us in those departments."
