Parting Is Such Sweet Sorrow

Nobody likes being injured and it will be difficult to cope when all around you are fit and healthy

Clyde's summer signing Steven Masterton has left to club by mutual consent. The parting of the ways is to allow the former Morton, Crawley Town and Alloa midfielder on recovering from pelvic and groin problems. Masterton has not started a game for the Bully Wee for two months.  Broadwood manager Jim Duffy said: "Steven is struggling to get himself fit and it is in everyone’s best interests for him to move on. He can now work on his rehab near where he lives in Ayrshire as opposed to coming up here He is very disappointed at how his stint at the club has gone as he wanted to make a contribution, and he was until the injury struck. I hope he can get back playing soon as he is a good person and a good football player."
