Pars Raid Paisley Again

John Potter gets the chance to stay in the SPL with his hometown team. Dunfermline have raided St Mirren again after John Potter agreed a one-year deal. Today will see him undergo a medical in his hometown before completing his move from St Mirren, who withdrew a contract offer last month. Potter had held off from talking about a new deal with the Paisley club until the relegation issue had been resolved last season. However, he was disappointed to be told the offer had been withdrawn. If the medical goes well, Potter will be Dunfermline's second signing from St Mirren this summer after goalkeeper Paul Gallacher also returned to East End Park.  Dunfermline manager Jim McIntyre said: "I am really pleased to bring in someone with great experience and a proven Premier League player. He was captain of St Mirren for the last three seasons and he is a real leader on the park."
