One Point Will Do

Ross County can feel satisfied with their first foray into the SPL

Ross County manager Derek Adams watched as his side lost two points at Tynecastle when Hearts snatched a 2-2 draw in stoppage time. The Staggies were looking like they would be heading back to Dingwall with three points from a 2-1 win until Hearts substitute John Sutton scored in the third minute of added time. Adams was content to reflect on his side's strong start to their first campaign in the top flight, after they have played all 11 teams. He said: "We're happy to come away with the point, but disappointed we haven't come away with three points because we were in that position. It was two (points) dropped at the end, because we were 2-1 up with the last kick of the ball. But overall maybe a point's fair. Hearts definitely played better than us in the first half, put us under a lot of pressure. I'd expect nothing else. We're in a different planet from Hearts. We come from a wee village up in Dingwall. It's not easy coming here, just coming up from the First Division. We've done exceptionally well in our first 11 games."
