Livingston are hoping sen signing Craig Barr's operations have been a success. Craig Barr has secured a deal with Livingston after he was released by Queen of the South in the summer. Barr was among 40 players and staff laid off by Gretna as the club went into administration in 2008. The defender moved to Queen of the South but was released after undergoing two operations and a complete cruciate reconstruction of the knee. Chief executive Ged Nixon said: "He's a player with a good pedigree having played in the SPL and I am sure he will be an asset".The Livi squad stays the same size as the club have transferred Joe Hamill to Swedish side Ostersunds FK, who are coached by former Livi and Hearts player Lee Makel.
