Lauri Dalla Valle hopes to return to Fulham a better player for coming north Lauri Dalla Valle is planning to impress during his time with Dundee United in order to win a starting place at Fulham. Dalla Valla has been impressed by what seen of Scottish football so far and believes the style of play will suit his game. The former Liverpool player has joined United on a six-month loan as he seeks to gain invaluable first-team experience. He believes that if he can do well in Scotland then he could be given a chance by manager Martin Jol when he returns to Fulham. Dalla Valle said: "I know that if I am to become a regular in the Fulham side, it will depend a lot on how I progress during this loan. Martin Jol will be keeping tabs on me and I would like to do really well here. There is the possibility that I could then go back and feature for Fulham, which would be fantastic. It's a massive incentive for me and, as targets go, I am setting my aims high. I want to make a big impact during my time at United. My first impression of Scottish football is good - am I am positively surprised how good. It is very fast and you have to move the ball quickly so I think playing that kind of football will be good for me."
