Odds Stacked In His Favour

Graham Stack must stand a chance of keeping his place in a winning Hibs side. Graham Stack is determined to establish himself as the first-choice goalkeeper at Easter Road after impressing since recovering from a back injury. Stack took over from Mark Brown last month and has featured in the short run of three straight wins for Colin Calderwood's side. The much-travelled 'keeper has conceded only one goal in the three games - a penalty against Kilmarnock - but he is uncertain whether he will keep Brown and Jakub Divis out of the side. Stack said: "We'll have to wait and see - I don't know yet. The boss is the one that makes the decisions. But I'd like to think that I've given him something to think about. I've come in and played three games and we've won three. I'd like to think I've brought something to the side. Obviously at St Mirren I didn't have a great deal to do, but there is a lot more to goalkeeping than just making saves. I'm desperate to play again at the weekend against Inverness. But the decision lies with the manager and it is one I will respect and we'll go from there." Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is Scottish-Fitba Net
