A good way to get pre-season adrenaline going with a competition between clubs. Scottish Amateur League champions Oban Saints have invited five senior sides to their annual summer Tournament which will take place again on Saturday, 10 July with the competition starting at 11.00am. Oban Saints will be joined by the first team squads of Alloa Athletic, who won the competition last year and Dundee United in the round robin tournament with Hamilton Accies, Hearts and St Johnstone sending along squads made up of mainly under-19 players. Recreation Park assistant manager James Ward said: “The Oban Tournament is always a great day for the fans that travel to watch it and for the clubs as it takes pre-season training up another level.” Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
