No Contest Between Lennon And Brown
Craig Brown is staying dignified. Aberdeen manager Craig Brown has brushed aside comments from Celtic boss Neil Lennon about their respective disciplinary issues with the SFA. Lennon claimed Brown's clash with Motherwell chairman John Boyle should prompt a touchline ban, just as his similar disagreement with Rangers assistant Ally McCoist did. Brown's case would be discussed by the SFA on 10 May and he said: "I won't comment on another manager or club unless it's complimentary." The ex-Scotland manager feels there is little historical difference in approach from the SFA. Brown said: "I don't think the SFA are any different from a time many years ago when I last had to appear. I was Clyde manager and the adversary on that occasion was Archie Knox in a game at Forfar. We had a disagreement. You can see we're the best of friends subsequently, always have been, but it was a wee incident on the field. I have been used to contentious issues."
