The establishment of a private members fan club is nothing new but Alloa hope to generate ongoing income for the club. There is news buzzing around Alloa Athletic fans regarding the clubs' initiative to establish a private members Privilege Club which will help the development of the Third Division club. Fans will be asked to contribute a minimum of £20 per month to support the development of Recreation Park and the costs of the youth set-up at the club. There names will be entered into a monthly draw where the first prize is £500, an annual super prize draw where the prize is guaranteed to be over £1000 as well as other benefits.Chairman Mike Mulraney said: "Much has already been achieved in terms of stadium development but we cannot stand still, neither in terms of facilities nor in ensuring that we can attract quality players to our first team pool. The development of our youth set-up lies at the heart of our forward planning and it is of significant financial benefit to the club when a youth player makes the step-up to the first team squad. By joining the Privilege Club fans will assist the club hugely."
