Chairmen get vilified when they have to make tough decisions, like an increase in prices. Michael Johnston is tired of the abuse Kilmarnock chairman Michael Johnston is getting fed up with the attacks on his plans to keep the club going in the right direction. The most recent attack comes from the supporters' association which passed a no-confidence vote and asked Johnston to move aside and allow new owners to take the club forward. With the financial situation always fragile at most football clubs, Johnston had asked fans to to dig deep for season tickets after learning some fans were refusing to buy them in protest at an increase in prices.  Johnston said: "I've been in control since 2005 and no one has come with a well-funded plan during that time. It's wearing when you're under personal attack from people you'd expect to support the club."
