No Long Term Future For Foster At Ibrox

Craig Brown wants Richard Foster to play for his Dons Richard Foster admits he fully expects to leave Rangers and head back north to Aberdeen at the end of the season. Despite the defender joining Rangers on a season-long loan from the Dons, he does not see an extended stay at Ibrox in his future. The loan was sanctioned by previous Aberdeen manager boss Mark McGhee and Foster's understanding is that current manager Craig Brown wants him back at Pittodrie next season.  He said: "My situation as it stands is that I'm going back to Aberdeen for next season, up until this point that's the way it is. I've seen in the papers that they (Brown and assistant Archie Knox) want me to go back and if that's the case at the end of the season I'd be more than happy and I'd work as hard as I can for them. I had to prove a few doubters wrong when I came here (Ibrox). I think coming from a smaller SPL club there was always going to be scepticism - but hopefully my performances have relieved any fears fans may have and hopefully I'm good enough to play for Rangers." EditorGer Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net) This is Scottish-Fitba Net
