No Hard Feelings For Barron

David Barron may want away from Paisley but Danny Lennon will still play him. David Barron is looking for a new club after turning down a final contract offer from St Mirren. The full-back's current deal expires at the end of the season and he has snubbed a two-year extension offer in August. Since then, manager Danny Lennon has come back with a new deal but that has also been turned down. Lennon had hoped Barron would finally sign on but has now revealed there will be no further offers. Barron has yet to play this season after being sidelined with a knee injury but, with the player set to return in four weeks, Lennon insists he remains firmly in his plans this season. He said: "We won't be going back in with another offer. The biggest thing for St Mirren and David is we get him back on the pitch. He had to make a decision he feels is best for him and we won't hold any grudges. We know David is going to be a big player for us once we get him back on the pitch playing." Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba.net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba.net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
