Rivalry there may be but Craig Levein can see England doing well but falling short in South Africa Scotland manager Craig Levein may not increase his intake of Mars bars but he hops England does well in the World Cup, which starts on 11 June. However, he does not think Fabio Capello's men will be heading home from South Africa a month later with the trophy. Levein would be putting any money he did bet on Brazil instead. With Levein not being able to cheer on his home nation, he admits he wants English success. The Scotland manager said: "The way I look at it, Scotland aren't in it and I hope England do well. They are our nearest neighbours and I hope they do well. In my professional opinion, I don't think they will win the competition. Brazil, in my eyes, are strong favourites to win. We have a laugh, tongue in cheek, about the situation with England and Scotland but I worked down there and I've got friends there. I hope they do very well but, in my opinion, Brazil will win." Levein thinks that England could make the last four this time around but that would be there best finish. He went: "I haven't sat down and worked out all the permutations but I think what would be success for England would be getting to the semi-finals. I'm sure if they did that, it would be a successful tournament for them." Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba.net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba.net)This is Scottish-Fitba.Net
