New Year New Club

Ross County appear to be the first to make any moves in the transfer market this January.

That time of year has come round again when agents start to earn their money by putting out stories of where their clients would like to move to. You have to take most of the rumours with a pinch of slat but it all adds to the flavour of modern football.  Hans Age Yndestad's agent has suggested the player wants to move Ross County. Manager Derek Adams appears determined to make the experienced Norwegian his first signing of the transfer window as he looks to strengthen his side to maintain the gap on  bottom side Dundee. Yndestad, who made over 200 appearances for his former club Tromso in a 12-year spell, is travelling to Dingwall to have a medical and talk with the club. The player's agent Roald Oien believes that a deal can be agreed with the Ross-shire club and insists Yndestad is determined to join them. Oien said: "Hans Age will travel to Scotland. We look at this as an informal and exciting trip. He's going there to get to know the club and to take a medical check. We know it's a club we can agree with and Hans Age wants to go."
