New Deal To Keep Almondvale Starlet

19 February 2010 20:29
Marc McNulty could be the next big thing down Almondvale way. Livingston have secured striker Marc McNulty for another three years as he has signed a new deal with the West Lothian side. A product of the club's development programme, McNulty made a scoring debut for the club as a substitute against Montrose last October and is highly thought of at Almondvale. There is still a long way to go but Almondvale manager Gary Bollan hopes he will continue paying back the development costs for the full three years of the new contract.Bollan said: "I am looking forward to helping Marc fulfil his potential during his time at the club. Livingston have produced very exciting players recently with the likes of Graham Dorrans and Robert Snodgrass starring in England and Leigh (Griffiths) up at Dundee and hopefully Marc will do as well as these guys have." McNulty has the ‘Sparky’ nickname as has Leigh Griffiths who has went on to great heights with Dundee this season. Bollan sees a similar path for McNulty if all goes well.
