Some carry the armband lightly while others struggle to give their best with the added responsibility Clyde have named defender Ross McMillan as their new captain in a bid to get the best out of their squad and his precessor Adam Strachan. The big defender was the captain of Junior side Largs Thistle last season and led them all the way to the Emirates Junior Cup Final. Broadwood manager Stuart Millar is now looking for the big defender to help take the Bully Wee off the foot of the Third Division table.Millar explained: “Ross showed last season that he was a good captain and we are hoping he can repeat that at Clyde. The responsibility of being captain was weighing too heavily on Adam’s shoulders and hopefully he will now have the freedom to express himself better on the pitch.” Editor Ger Harley (ger@scottishfitba net)Admin Team (admin@scottishfitba net)This is ScottishFitba Net
