Myrie-Williams Hope To Make Final Team

Everybody wants to play in a cup final. The winger with the marvellous name of Jennison Myrie-Williams is hoping he has done enough to convince Dundee United manager Peter Houston that he deserves a place in the starting 11 for Saturday's Active Nation Scottish Cup final. The former Bristol City winger put in a good shift against Hibs on Sunday but could not prevent the Easter Road side going on to win 2-0. Myrie-Williams said: "I was delighted to play and I felt that I needed it to get my match sharpness up. I felt it went quite well and hopefully I have given the gaffer something to think about ahead of next week. It is going to be a massive game for the club. It would be the biggest game of my career if I play and I'm really excited by the thought that I might get a game." The winger is confident his side will come out on top at Hampden on Saturday against underdogs Ross County. He said: "People will be expecting us to win but you only have to remember what they did against Celtic to know it isn't going to be easy. They are a good team but if our 11 play to the best of their abilities I think we should win the game. It is always an added pressure when you go in as favourites, especially when you are playing a First Division side, but a cup final is a one-off game and it will be down to who wants it more on the day."
