Jim Weir likes what he sees in Ewan Moyes

Brechin City manager Jim Weir must see something in defender Ewan Moyes as he has signed him for the fourth time. The former Hibs youngster agreeing has agreed a one year deal at the Second Division club. Moyes played for Weir in loan spells at Arbroath and also at Glebe Park before heading to Gateshead last summer. Weir brought the centre back north in January on a short-term deal and he played in 15 games and scored once. Weir has now secured Moyes’ services for the 2012-13 season. The City manager said: "I know Ewan well and he has always impressed me with his consistency. I am delighted that I can work with him from day one of this season."Weir has set up pre-season games against First Division Dundee and SPL Inverness Caledonian Thistle as part of their pre-season programme. The Glebe Park men are also travelling to Montrose and Queens Park in their build-up to the new campaign.The itinerary for Jim Weir’s side is:-

Saturday, July 14 – Montrose (3.00pm away) Tuesday, July 17 – Queen’s Park (away – closed door) Saturday, July 21- Dundee (2,00pm Glebe Park) Tuesday, July 24 – Inverness Caledonian Thistle (7.30pm Glebe Park)
