Morton Man Keen To Get Started
The frustration of having to rest while determined to get fit is nearly over for Peter Weatherson Morton striker Peter Weatherson has plans to be back in action soon. The former Queen of the South man spent the summer resting to help the inflammation of his pubic bone and strain to an abductor muscle. He hopes to be fit for the start of the season to finally see off his long standing pelvic injury. After sitting out the early stages of new manager Allan Moore’s reign, Weatherson is keen to get going. He said: "I have done some running in straight lines and will be looking to kick a ball this week and I do not think I am too far.
