Goalkeeper Michael Andrews has disappointed Peterhead by changing his mind and signed for Brechin City instead. Balmoor Manager Jim McInally believed that the signing of Andrews, who played for him for a season at East Stirling, was in the bag after the stopper headed north for training and to take part in a game. Just after McInally had announced the deal on the club’s website he received a text from Andrews saying that he was joining the Glebe Park club. The former Falkirk and Scotland under-21 'keeper Andrews was looking for a move after a frustrating year with Montrose. However, rather than take up the Blue Toon's offer he has signed after playing at his former Links Park home in Brechin’s 5-0 pre-season win on Saturday.
