Miller Time For McCoist!

The bidding precess for Rangers is getting closer to the end and Ally McCoist is happy to speak with whoever wins the race

Rangers manager Ally McCoist has spoken to American bidder Bill Miller about his intentions for the club if he is successful in gaining control. Miller is one of three bidders seeking control of the Glasgow club, with administrators Duff and Phelps hoping to name a preferred bidder in the next few days. McCoist says he is ready to fly to the United States to meet Miller if he is wins the right to be the preferred bidder to take control of the club. Speaking after Saturday's 3-1 win over St Mirren in the SPL, McCoist said: "I spoke to Bill Miller last night in a conference call for the best part of an hour, which was very encouraging. I got the feeling that he wants what's best for the club, which is the most important thing. I had a good chat with him and he asked me one or two questions about the club. The next obvious step would be for us to meet and I think that would be the case if the administrators give him preferred bidder status. I would certainly fly over to the States as soon as (possible)."
