Colin Calderwood has made some moves to add to his squad. Richie Towell has joined Hibs on loan from Celtic to make it three players Colin Calderwood has added to his squad as he attempts to halt the slide down the table. We told you this morning of Martin Scott's move to Easter Road from Ross County and the other day about Matt Thornhill moving from Nottingham Forest in a deal until the end of the 2012/13 season. Towell will be at Easter Road till the end of the season as Calderwood makes his moves for reinforcements in a bid to halt Hibs' run of 10 games without a win. All three players could be involved in tomorrow night's game against Rangers, although Thornhill has been struggling with an ankle problem. Republic of Ireland under-21 international full-back Towell has made one substitute appearance for Celtic this season and is pleased about his move to Easter Road. Towell said : "It is a brilliant move for me and I'm delighted to come to a big club like Hibernian. Now I want to make an impact in the team and help Hibernian to climb up the table. It would be brilliant to be able to make my debut against Rangers; games don't get any bigger than that. Hopefully I can play some part in the game and help Hibernian win. The time with Hibernian will be massive for my development. I trained for the first time with the squad today and everything is really positive." Calderwood was pleased to recruit Towell, who will provide much-needed defensive reinforcements and can also play in midfield. Calderwood said: "Richie caught our attention when we played against Celtic in a bounce match. He will help to freshen up our squad and will be a good addition between now and the end of the season."
