McInnes Doesn't Appeal To Me

Another appeal going into the SFA office at Hampden. St Johnstone manager Derek McInnes has submitted an appeal against the four-game ban he received from the SFA after being sent to the stand at Tannadice earlier this month. Referee Mike Tumilty showed the Perth Saints' manager the red card after he remonstrated with assistant referee Keith Sorbie in the aftermath of Johnny Russell opening the scoring - claiming the Dundee United player had scored from an offside position.  Saints also had Steven Anderson controversially sent off during the 2-0 loss at Tannadice on 9 April. McInnes will argue his case against the automatic four-game suspension in front of the SFA's disciplinary committee on 10 May.
