The transfer season is on and managers are on the lookout for talent Rangers manager Ally McCoist has hinted that he may attempt to tempt Crystal Palace's Neil Danns to move north of the border to the Ibrox club. As ever, the playmaker is said to be on the radar of a number of clubs in the Championship, with Danns becoming a free agent at the end of June when his contract comes to an end at Selhurst Park. Danns has made more than 100 appearances in the three seasons he has been with the south London club.  McCoist said: "I would describe Danns as a box-to-box midfielder with good physical attributes and he should be suited to Scotland. Everyone accepts we need more numbers in our squad - we need more strength in depth."
