McCall's Not Bitter

Speculation over Jamie Murphy's futurs appears not to have any substance Stuart McCall has denied reports that Bolton and QPR have made bids for Motherwell's Jamie Murphy. It is understood that that the Premier League sides are monitoring the situation of the striker, who has previously been linked to Rangers. But McCall has poured cold water on speculation that a £700,000 offer has been submitted.  McCall said: "We have had no contact from either Bolton or QPR so I don't know where this has come from. I worked with Neil Warnock, the QPR manager, for over five years so I would like to think he would let me know if he was interested in one of my players. On top of that, £700,000 is nowhere near our valuation of Jamie. But the bottom line is he is under contract here until 2013 and going nowhere right now. Jamie has a key part to play for us over the season ahead and he knows how highly we value him. Right now I am concentrating on bringing in new faces, not losing key players."
