Stuart McCall has no intention of heading the Blackburn
Stuart McCall is still happy with his work at Fir Park and has no immediate plans to leave. The Motherwell manager wanted to end speculation linking him with the vacant Blackburn job. The Ewood club are looking for a new manager after Steve Kean was removed from the post. McCall says he was unaware of reports in England adding him to the usual suspects for the vacancy. McCall is due to start discussions with Motherwell about extending his conrcat after leading the Lanarkshire club to a Scottish Cup final and Champions League qualifiers.Stuart McCall (c) Ger Harley | SportPix.org.uk The former Bradford manager said: "I'm very happy with what I'm doing and I focus on what I'm doing at the time. I have always done that as a player, coach and manager. It's a terrific club to work for, Motherwell. They have been really good to me and it has worked well. It's a great group of players and backroom staff, not just on the football side, the office staff too. It's a tight-knit group and I enjoy coming into work every morning. There is a lot to be said for that, and I tell my players that when I'm trying to keep them. If you're happy in your work, then the grass isn't always greener. I'm certainly not pursuing anything." When asked what his plans after he eventually leaves Motherwell, McCall said: "I honestly don't think that far ahead. It's like anything, if somebody comes to you with an offer, you would look at it and probably discuss it but it's certainly not something that is on my mind."
