Love Football
Fancy a tournament? Hotscots FC, Scotland’s first LGBT football club, are delighted to be hosting the second “Love Football” tournament. The event takes place at World of Football, Edinburgh Corn Exchange on Sunday, 13 February, with the first game kicking off at 1pm. The tournament has again attracted teams from all over the UK including Aberdeen’s Granite City Stormers & Glasgow’s Saltire Thistle. They will play alongside teams from Radio Forth and Lothian & Borders Police. The British Heart Foundation will also be in attendance looking to raise awareness of the importance of keeping a healthy lifestyle along with the ActivCity group. In all around 200 players and officials will be in attendance at the event.So will last year’s champions, Haddington Coaches, retain their title or will the HotScots go one better? Only time will tell but the whole day promises to be a great success for all involved. The draw for the tournament takes place at Priscilla’s bar in Edinburgh on Saturday night.
