Learning All The Time

You have to take every opportunity to learn something new and Steven Tweed wants his players to learn fast. Montrose manager Steven Tweed knows what it is like to play at Easter Road and he wants as many of his squad as possible to experience the atmosphere on Saturday. The Links Park side play Hibs in the Scottish Cup and Tweed wants the future players at the club to be developed by being involved. Tweed said: "I will be taking a squad of around twenty players all the way from boarding the team bus until doing the warm-up. It will be a great experience for some of our younger players to sample what games are like at an SPL ground and I want as many of them as practicable to be part of the experience. It may well give them a taste for the big time and that can only be good." The starting eleven selected from the enhanced squad will be encouraged by the one time Easter Road player to do their best. He plans to keep his final message to be clear and simple. He said: "I will tell the players to enjoy the day but to do themselves justice on the pitch."
