Langfield Staying Put

Jamie Langfield has accepted the offer to stay for another year with the Dons Jamie Langfield has agreed to sign a new one-year contract to stay at Pittodrie. The goalkeeper's current contract was due to end in the summer, but he has opted to stay with Aberdeen for another 12 months.  Langfield said: "I've never hidden the fact that my family and myself love it in the north east and I'm really looking forward to working under the gaffer (Craig Brown) and Archie (Knox) next season for their first full campaign in charge."
