dfbfadsghfdhdf Kenny Dalglish’s Liverpool gained another three points as they claimed a win at Sunderland. The major talking point was the decision of the referee to give a penalty to Liverpool in the 34th minute. Jay Spearing was tripped well outside the area and, after giving a free kick, the ref changed his mind when his assistant flagged, and awarded a penalty which Dirk Kuyt converted. Luis Suarez confirmed the win with a goal in the 77th minute from a near impossible angle. Scotland international watch: The only Scotland involvement on the pitch was Phil Bardsley who had a poor afternoon. He appeared to be injured with 20 minutes to go but with the Black Cats having already used their three subs, he remained on the pitch until the end of the game. At has been conformed he will remain in Sunderland for tests on his injury.
