Slovakia goalkeeper Marian Kello has left Tynecastle for the last time after negotiating his immediate release from the club. Kello joined Hearts in August 2008, initially on loan from Kaunas but fell out of favour with Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov and was sidelined after rejecting a January move to Austria Vienna. The 'keeper would have been free to leave when his contract expired at the end of the season. Kello, who was the club's player of the season last year despite another absence enforced by Romanov, has been linked with Premier League side Aston Villa. In a statement released by his solicitor, Margaret Gribbon of Bridge Litigation, Kello said: "I thoroughly enjoyed my time at Tynecastle and would like to take this opportunity to thank my team-mates and the Hearts supporters who have always made me feel so welcome. I will always value my time at the club and wish them all the very best for the rest of the season." A Hearts spokesperson added: "We would like to thank Marian for his services as he proved himself to be a key player for the club during his time here."
