Signing season is on the go but Celtic keeping their powder dry at the moment

Celtic could be in for a fight with Cardiff City over the autograpgh of South Korea international winger Kim Bo-Kyung. Manager Neil Lennon has been aware of Kim for a while and has seen the Cerezo Osaka winger in action but no deal has been done yet. Lennon said: "He's a player we've been linked with, but there's nothing more on that just now. I don't know him personally but I've seen him play. He's a creative type but there is nothing more in it just now. There will be a lot of players we're linked with but we've narrowed it down to a few." Kim, who has scored twice in 13 international appearances, is keen on a move to Europe as he hope to progress his career. He said: "I want to play in the UK or Germany and Celtic and Cardiff City would allow me to develop. I have no experience in Europe, so I am happy to learn step by step." Celtic were captained by James Forrest in the 0-0 pre-season draw against Augsburg in Germany on Tuesday night. The game was also the comeback for Beram Kayal who got a start after recovering from an ankle injury that ruled him out of the second half of last season.
