A hit rate of 12 goals in 17 games makes Nikica Jelavic a target for a transfer

Rangers striker Nikica Jelavic has no plans to be leaving the club despite reports of a January transfer. However, he does find it flattering to be wanted by other clubs.  He moved from Rapid Vienna in 2010 and has played 17 times in the league this season with a 12 goal return. The Croatian was the subject of a big-money bid from Leicester City in the summer and has recently been linked with Liverpool and West Brom. Rangers manager Ally McCoist conceded at the weekend that he is expecting further interest in Jelavic witht he January transfer window opening in the New Year following the forward's two goals against Hibs in Saturday's early kick-off game. However, while Jalavic is happy to be suggested as a target for other clubs, he is not considering the possibility of a move away from Ibrox. He said: "Every day, when I open the newspapers, I'm moving to another club. It's nice to think so many teams are interested in me from the strongest league in the world but I'm not thinking about a transfer right now."
