Jacobs Just Crackers Enough

They say you have to be a bit mad to want to play in goal. Kyle Jacobs was all set to take the place of Livingston team-mate Tony Bullock in goal at Queen’s Park on Saturday after the keeper was sent off. However, in his keeness to help it would appear that he was not concentrating on what he was doing. With only two minutes left of extra time and losing 3-2, Jacobs knew time was of the essence. He quickly grabbed puklled on the gloves and jersey that Bullock had thrown to the ground as he ran off the park. The defender the  prepared himself for the free kick after Bullock’s offence of handling outside the area.In his enthusiasm to help his side, Jacobs had put the top on the wrong way round and a large number one was on his chest until colleagues, including brother Keaghan, pointed out his mistake. As Jacobs swivelled the top around he then spotted substitute goalkeeper Craig McDowall trotting on to take over goalkeeping duties as Livi still had a substitute available.
