It's An Injustice

Two red cards in two years before the season starts is not what Derek Adams had planned on

Ross County manager Derek Adams intends to appeal against the red card shown to Richie Brittain against Den Bosch amid fears he'll be banned for the Scottish Premiership opener. The midfielder was sent off for a retaliatory trip before County lost a late goal in a 1-0 friendly defeat in Holland. County lost Stuart Kettlewell to suspension early last season following a similar incident.Adams said: "It is not right what's happened. It is the second time we've played Den Bosch and the second time we've had a sending-off for an innocuous challenge. It's hard because we've lost another player for the first game of the season - and that's not right. To lose Richard against Celtic would be terrible, but we'll wait to see what transpires over the next few days. I don't know if there are avenues for appeal but I will find out."
