Inverness chairman Kenny Cameron is not overly concerned that a number of players have left the club. Striker Gregory Tade has been offered a two-year deal to move to St Johnstone after the turned down a one-year deal to stay in the Highlands. Greg Tansey has signed for Stevenage and goalkeeper Jonny Tuffey, reportedly also a target for St Johnstone, has left in search of first-team football. Butcher said: "We're grateful to Jonny for his service and we appreciate why he has moved on. We have a replacement in mind and we are hopeful that we can tie him up fairly soon." Jonny Hayes also looks set to move on with Aberdeen claiming he has agreed to join them. This suggestion has been dismissed by the the winger who says he decide on his future after returning from holiday. Manager Terry Butcher, who released David Proctor, set his players a deadline of today to accept new contracts, but so far only goalkeeper Ryan Esson is confirmed as staying on. Cameron said: "Terry and Maurice Malpas have been working hard on prospective targets as we wait to see if our remaining out of contract players accept their new offers. I cannot say too much at this stage as potential incoming players are still under contract elsewhere, but several of them have responded in a very positive manner to our initial approaches and we are quietly confident of new arrivals. The number of new faces we require will depend on how many of our out-of-contract players decide to leave. But our management team are pulling out all the stops to ensure we have adequate cover for all positions. This time we intend to have most of the squad - and all of them, if we can manage it - in place for the start of pre-season training on June 29. As far as our out-of-contract players are concerned, we have made the best offers possible in the club's current financial position. In light of the changes to the SPL rules, it is imperative that we cut our cloth to suit our income as we move forward."
