Ambition for promotion chase can be affected by the loss of just one player

Stenhousemuir have been dealt a blow to their hope to may the promotion play-off places with the news that experienced striker Stewart Kean has been ruled out of action for a month. The former Ayr United, St Mirren, Queen of the South and Morton player has picked up a calf injury. Manager Martyn Corrigan said: "We have had a disappointing season with injuries to our most experienced players and unfortunately Stewart has now joined that list. He will be out for at least a month but hopefully he will be good to go for the run-in to the season."
