It must have been a quiet news day after Peterhead beat Elgin 3-0

Peterhead manager Jim McInally appears to have been misquoted and is embarrassed by the associated headlines.  He read that his assessment of The Blue Toon's performance in their 3-0 win over Elgin was that they were ‘world class’.  McInally explained: "I am not very sure where people got the idea that I said Peterhead were world class and where the associated head-lines have come from. It is not something I would say and I didn’t say it after the Elgin game so I was a bit bemused when I read it in some papers. We had played well but our goalkeeper had to make a few great saves to keep Elgin out so I was pleased with the performance. It is a bit of stretch from that to saying it was world class in any department. If I was the manager of Barcelona I would maybe use the term world-class but with the best will in the world Peterhead are not Barcelona."
