Footballers go where the contract takes them but would you go to Iran? From Hamilton to Iran, a footballer's place of work can be interesting to say the least. Flavio Paixao, who was one half of the Portuguese twins that played for Hamilton for the last two seasons, has moved to a new club in Iran. While brother Marco is still looking for a club, Flavio will be doing any celebratory dancing solo in Tabriz which is the capital of the East Azerbaijan province. He has signed for Tractor Sazi, who play in the Iranian top flight. The club are owned by the Iran Tractor Manufacturing Co and their club badge proudly displays a red and white tractor which may remind him of his time with the New Douglas Park club.
