Hibs Not Showing Their Best On A Regular Basis

Hibs can't afford to continue being mediocre Hibs need to develop some consistency warned Liam Miller if they are to avoid being dragged into a relegation flight. Colin Calderwood has led Hibs to two wins, four defeats and one draw since taking on the role of manager after John Hughes was sacked, with a 3-0 win at Ibrox being the standout highlight. Hibs finished fourth last season, but are five points off the foot of the table this term ahead of Saturday's scheduled game with bottom club Hamilton. Midfielder Miller said: "People talk about the league table but I don't think that there are any easy games in this league right now. Everyone is battling for their own cause and I am sure that this will be a difficult match for us but it is one that, if we play to the way that we can, then hopefully we can get all three points. We have shown it in dribs and drabs so far but if we can just do that on a consistent basis, then hopefully we can put a good run of results together over the next few months. Our away record is not good, but we have to look at the positive going into the games that we have got coming up. The one good thing we can take from the St Johnstone match is that we kept a clean sheet. That is something that we can hopefully build on, we want to start shutting up shop at the back but also getting at least one in the net at the other end as well."
