Hearts players will get paid what they were due on 16 December according to director Sergejus Fedotovas but he cannot provide a date when this will happen. Wages were due on Friday 16 December, but failed to materialise in the bank accounts on schedule for a third successive month and remain outstanding. Hearts players lost patience and, via PFA Scotland, submitted an official complaint to the SPL, who will rule on the delay on 4 January. Fedotovas, right-hand man of owner Vladimir Romanov, plans to visit Edinburgh early next month and remains confident that a resolution to the saga will be forthcoming in the near future. Fedotovas said: "We are working and we are confident we will get through this period. I cannot tell you if it will take a few days or a bit longer, but we are really confident we will be past these difficulties in a short time."
