Vladimir Romanov appears not to be looking for jus anybody to buy Hearts

Hearts may be short of cash at the moment but that does not mean they are willing to be taken over buy just anybody. The have jus turned down a takeover bid from Italian businessman Angelo Massone, saying he "may not be the right person to take the club forward".  Despite saying no to former Livingston owner Massone's approach, majority shareholder Vladimir Romanov remains prepared to talk about selling his interests in Hearts in which he first invested in 2005. A statement on Hearts' official website read: "Heart of Midlothian FC can today reveal that it has rejected a bid from businessman Angelo Massone to buy the club. The offer was received last week but the board feels the Italian may not be the right person to take the club forward."
